Mountains In May

We like to head to the mountains in May.  The beautiful scenery and mountain air make a great get away. We love the weather in May. We can usually have a campfire at night and it’s not too hot during the day.

Mountains and Views

The pictures tell the story. However, I do wonder about the names of some wildflowers. Maybe, you can help me out.

Beautiful mountain view.

Wildflowers Please help me out if you know what these are.

Love this bush growing wild. It appears to be a mini rose bush. Please let me know if it is something different.

Gorgeous reflection of the dock and trees on the pond.

We did some fishing from this very dock and caught a couple of fish. I don’t know what kind. It was just fun to sit among nature and watch the geese. Yes, there were geese there, too.

Beautiful picture of an antique tractor riding cycle mower.

You never know what you will find when driving the back roads in the mountains.  This antique tractor riding cycle mower was a great find. It is more beautiful in person.

Sunlight as it shines on this barn. If you look closely, you can see a cow and a few goats.

As I look at the sunlight shining on the barn in the early morning, I see peacefulness, tranquility and calmness. I love to be here in the mountains and feel inspired to create and write. I also enjoy the quiet. It is the total opposite of daily life in the city.

I want to leave you with one of my favorite quotes/saying: Take pride in how far you’ve come and have faith in how far you can go. In all of life’s craziness, remember to enjoy the journey.
