Remembering Our Veterans

Veterans Day is Friday, November 11th.

Veterans Day honors all American Veterans both living and those who haRemembering Our Veteransve passed away while in service.

Veterans Day and Memorial Day are often confused. Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans. Memorial Day is set aside to remember all men and women who gave their lives and those who died while in service.

On November 11th of each year, we set aside this day to make sure that our Veterans know that we deeply appreciate their sacrifices.

I have several family members who have

served in the military:

Father-In Law, Bill Harmon – United States Navy

Brother-In-Law, Dennis  – United States Air Force , Retired as an E-9, Chief Master Sergeant

Now Serving

Currently, my son-in-law, Josh, is serving in the U. S. Navy. He and my daughter make great sacrifices to serve in the Navy.  So often, there are holidays that they miss due to Josh’s commitment to the Navy. In fact, I can’t remember the last time they were able to come home. I just want to take a minute and let them know that I love them and appreciate their sacrifice.
