No matter what, I will always trust God.
When I was going through a challenging time with my broken wrist, my beautiful daughter posted these song lyrics on her Facebook page. WOW! It was just in time to put things in perspective for me to remember that no matter what I will trust God and His divine timing. I was encouraged by my little girl. Life is so good. Sometimes, we just need to step back and look at life from a different perspective.
“I’m running back to your promises one more time. Lord that’s all I can hold on to.
I gotta say this has taken me by surprise.
But nothing surprises YOU.
Before a heartache can ever touch my life,
it has to go through Your hands
And even though I keep asking why
No matter what, I’m, gonna love You
No matter what I’m gonna need You
I know You can find a way to keep me from pain. But if not, I’ll trust You. No matter what.”
No Matter What by Kerrie Roberts
Let me tell you about Kelsey. She is an amazing young woman. She is kind and compassionate. When she was a child, she would write a poem for everyone at Christmas. She exudes a kindness and unselfishness that is very rare. She is an encourager. She is also very brilliant. She has a Biology Degree from one of the elite educational programs in the Southeast. (Hence the math symbols on her glasses.) She posts the most amazing things on Facebook.
Be encouraged. God is with you no matter what and He loves you unconditionally.
Here are a couple of verses about how much God loves you.
“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” Isaiah 54:10 (NIV)
“Oh Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.” Psalm 86:5 (NLT)
God will meet you where you are.
- We don’t have to do anything.
- We don’t have to look a certain way.
- We just need to call on his name.
- We don’t have to earn His grace because he freely gives us his grace. He does that just as he freely gave his son so that we could have a relationship with him and we could be saved.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NIV)
So remember, no matter where you are in life: God is waiting to meet you where you are and take you where you need to be.
